So, when I travel for volleyball tournaments, I usually take Mckaley with me. Some people think I'm crazy, but I swear-she is the BEST traveler ever!!! She definitely knows the drill by now. It's almost like she thinks hoping on an airplane is just like getting in the car. The other day she was missing mimi and pop-pop and she said, "When I get out of me crib I go see them". I then told her that they were in CA and she said, "That's okay. We go get on a pwane to see em". She cracks me up. When we do go through the hassle of traveling, she knows exactly what to do. She has the cutest pink suitcase she takes with her that has all her travel games in it. She drags that along, takes her shoes off for security, hands the airline people her boarding pass, and does all this without being asked. Sometimes it gets me choked up, just to watch her do it. I think to myself, "Is this my little girl, when did she get so big!?"

About me
So I realized that my family blog is mostly/all about Mckaley. Here is an attempt to fill everyone in on my life these past 4 months. First, Tyler and I decided a move to Arizona
was in need. He got a great job in AZ as a financial consultant working with his dad for Wachovia/Wells Fargo so we started really considering the move. The job allowed me to stay at home with Mckaley while I worked from home as Coaching and Program Director for NorCal Volleyball Club. When we decided I could do both (be a stay at home mom while still working for NorCal) we decided to take the plunge to the desert. Once we were here, I decided that NorCal was too much work to try and do during nap time (haha what was I thinking?!), so Mckaley goes to dayschool two days a week so I can get the majority of my work done then. I have to say I love what I am doing!!! I get to see my little girl everyday, which is something that was not always an option in CA. I was working my butt off out there and I was barely getting to see her or Tyler. Plus, I get to still be involved with NorCal which I feel is my second baby. I've worked for the club for the past 9 years and I don't think I would feel complete without it. It's been such a big part of my identity for so long. The only major downfall to all of this it that I really miss my family and friends from back home. It's true that I get to see some of them when I come into town to work for NorCal (1-2 times per month), but it still doesn't feel like enough time. I end up cramming too much in. But, I guess that limited time is better than no time at all! Anyhow, here are some pics of my life in the gym with NorCal. . .
This one's hard to see, but it's our 15 black team and our 16 blue team having to play each other in the PLQ. It stinks when this happens, but with so many NorCal teams, its sometimes inevitable.
Some NorCal parents and college coaches watching the 18 black team play in Las Vegas from up above the courts.
17 black in a team huddle discussing how in the heck to beat Tampa.
Sydney Kordic (18 black) passing a ball. Syd just got offered a full ride to Sacramento State but hasn't decided if she will accept yet. Congrats Syd!
Above are some member of 13 White cheering on their teammates in a tough match. . .they won don't worry.
How cute are these 12 year olds, putting all their bows on before the big match?! I just LOVE watching them play!
Here's Keegan taking a practice over for Toni Ann and Ryan (wedding planning!) at our two court NorCal Volleyball Facility. You can't really see it that well in this pic, but the place is awesome. Can we say 3 courts in the future!!?? I hope so!

Valentines Day 2009
So, I'm horrible at this whole blog thing. I want to be good at it, but I either can never figure out how to do something, or I completely mess it up. Anyhow, for Valentines Day, I decided to do a special custom header with this fancy post about 14 things Mckaley loves in honor of Valentines Day. Anyhow, I made the header, but the file is now corrupt :-( and the fancy post was driving me crazy because you have to put the pictures in backwards!!! You blogger people probably know what Im talking about and it was driving me nuts. To make matters worse, I had all this time in Vegas to work on it, but the internet cost 16.99/day. Yikes, I figured I wanted it done, but not at that price! Anyhow, no more complaining, here is a version of Mckaley's Valentines Day 2009. . .
